Clove and Orange Pomanders
The smell will fill the kitchen for two weeks. The work is twenty minutes per orange.

Steps
- 01Buy: 3 small thick-skinned oranges, a small tin of whole cloves, a thin ribbon if you want to hang them.
- 02With a thumbtack or skewer, mark a pattern on the orange skin — a spiral, a band, a star.
- 03Push a clove into each mark. Press firmly; the clove should sit flush.
- 04If hanging, tie ribbon around the orange, north-south and east-west, knot at the top.
- 05Hang from a cabinet handle or place in a bowl. The scent lasts 3 weeks; the orange dries and shrinks beautifully.
