Peach Galette with Almond
When the peaches are perfect, do almost nothing. When they are not, this is what you do.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet all-butter puff pastry
- 4 ripe peaches, sliced thick
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground almonds
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon honey for finishing
Steps
- 01Sprinkle ground almonds over pastry, leaving a 5cm border. The almond catches the juice.
- 02Fan peach slices on top, sprinkle with sugar.
- 03Fold border up, brush with egg.
- 04Bake at 200°C for 30 minutes until golden.
- 05Brush warm galette with honey for shine.
