One-Pan Lemon Pasta for One Burner
The whole dinner happens in one pan. Pasta water becomes the sauce. The smallest stove can do this.
Ingredients
- 200g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 lemon, zested + juiced
- Handful of grated parmesan
- Salt, black pepper
Steps
- 01Boil pasta in just enough salted water to cover (less water = starchier sauce).
- 02Reserve 100ml of cooking water before draining.
- 03Return pasta to the pan off heat. Add butter, zest, juice, parmesan.
- 04Splash in cooking water a tablespoon at a time, tossing, until the sauce coats every strand.
- 05Salt and lots of pepper. Eat from the pan if you want.
